Efforts to Improve Quality of Products in DPRK

 Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Light Industry under the Ministry of Light Industry in the DPRK is conducting researches to develop and produce quality light industrial goods.
Scientists in charge of the tasks of developing new functional fibers and establishing the fiber production process with nylon and polyurethane resin as raw materials are devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to confirming the process plan suited to the actual conditions of the country.
Scientists have intensified their researches to apply phytosine rationally to the cosmetics sector. They are making progress in researching and developing various kinds of functional cosmetics on the basis of clinical examination tests.
The academy is developing the technique for home production of various equipment to be installed at the daily necessities factories newly being built in cities and counties and the technique for using recycled fibers.
It focuses on manufacturing various kinds of essential oils for laundry soap by the domestic raw materials and producing functional fabrics to be sent to grain management stations across the country. -0-
