Soccer Tournament for Torch Cup Closes

 Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The Soccer Tournament for Torch Cup, which started on August 1 to mark the Youth Day, came to a close on August 28. 
There were men's and women's finals at Kim Il Sung Stadium.
In the women's matches, the Sobaeksu Team beat the April 25 Team 2:1 (1:1 in the first and second halves of the match and 1:0 in the extratime period).
The men's finals took place between the Ryomyong Team and the Amnokgang Team. The two teams tied with 2:2 in the first and second halves of the match and failed to score in the extratime period. In the 11 meter penalty kick, the Amnokgang Team beat its rival team 6:3.
Trophy cups and medals were awarded to the football teams and players who proved successful in the tournament. -0-
