Makkah Society Serves over Half a Million People in August

   Jeddah, September 03, 2025, SPA -- In August, the Nmaa Makkah for Watering and Rifada society, which specializes in providing catering services to pilgrims, served 537,200 people through its water and food aid programs.
   The organization's report shows it distributed 527,000 bottles of cold water to Umrah performers at the Grand Mosque.
   It also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Green Taif Association to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices. This partnership will encourage water conservation, the use of gray water for afforestation, and the reduction of plastic waste and harmful emissions.
   Additionally, the society signed a cooperation memorandum with the Jeddah Municipality to strengthen community roles, unify efforts in providing community programs, and improve the quality of life for residents and visitors. It will also foster a culture of social responsibility and volunteerism, helping to serve diverse community segments and empower them to play a more active role in social services.
