Sadyr Zhaparov meets with member of Standing Committee of Politburo of CPC Central Committee Cai Qi

Bishkek, Sept. 4, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov on September 3, as part of his working visit to China, met with member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Cai Qi.

The press service of the head of state said that the issues of deepening political dialogue, expanding humanitarian and cultural ties, as well as further strengthening cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres were discussed.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Cai Qi expressed gratitude to Sadyr Zhaparov for participating in the celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people in World War II.

He noted that the Kyrgyz and Chinese people fought shoulder to shoulder during the war, and this heroic history is an important part of the common memory. Cai Qi highly appreciated the efforts of the Head of State to reform and develop the economy of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to improve the well-being of the people.

He emphasized that under the leadership of Sadyr Zhaparov, the republic is confidently moving along the path of development and national revival and noted the high level of Chinese-Kyrgyz relations, recalling that this year the leaders of the two countries have already met three times.

President Sadyr Zhaparov, in turn, noted that Kyrgyzstan attaches particular importance to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership with China, based on mutual trust, constructive political dialogue and joint implementation of priority areas of cooperation. In the economic sphere, the head of state noted the leading role of China as the largest trade, economic and investment partner of Kyrgyzstan and expressed readiness to consistently expand cooperation in the financial, infrastructure, cultural and humanitarian fields. In this context, he called on Chinese companies to more actively participate in the implementation of national projects of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing that the country is open to joint initiatives aimed at developing the economy, creating new jobs and improving the quality of life of citizens. In conclusion, the parties confirmed their mutual desire to further strengthen Kyrgyz-Chinese relations, actively develop strategic cooperation and implement the agreements reached in the interests of the peoples of the two countries
