AlUla Dates Season Kicks Off Tomorrow to Boost Local Farmers and Economy

AlUla, September 04, 2025, SPA -- The Royal Commission for AlUla is launching the AlUla Dates Season tomorrow as a key economic platform, allowing local farmers to showcase their date products to buyers and investors from within and outside the Kingdom.
The event will feature a date auction running on weekends from tomorrow until November 1. An accompanying farmers' market will be held from October 24 to November 15.
AlUla will also host upcoming seasons for citrus fruits, peregrine squash, and honey. This year will feature expanded exhibition pavilions, workshops on sustainable agriculture, food processing, and dedicated spaces for productive families.
The initiative aims to empower farmers, promote sustainable practices, and increase the competitiveness of AlUla dates. By blending agriculture, heritage, and tourism, the season reflects the commission's vision to achieve sustainable development and enhance AlUla's position as a global destination, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
