Foreign Minister participates in 164th ordinary session of Arab League Council

Cairo, Sept. 4 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the164th ordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, UAE Minister of State, chaired the session.  Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League foreign ministers from across the Arab world also participated.

The council discussed key regional and political issues, including the Palestinian situation, the Gaza conflict, developments in Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, and Yemen, as well as broader security, maritime, and humanitarian concerns. Economic, social, legal, and administrative matters were also considered.

The session concluded with the adoption of a series of resolutions addressing the issues on the agenda.
