Bahrain participates in 11th GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development meeting

Kuwait, Sept. 4 (BNA): Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, led Bahrain’s delegation to the 11th GCC Ministers of Social Affairs and Development meeting in Kuwait.

Jasim Mohammed Al Badiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC, and Mohammed bin Hassan Al Obaidly, Director-General of the Executive Office of the GCC Ministers of Labour and Social Affairs, attended the meeting.

Al Alawi highlighted the progress achieved through GCC social programmes and projects, noting that they reflect a shared commitment to unified visions and regional integration, providing a strong foundation for continued collaborative efforts. He also expressed Bahrain’s appreciation for the pioneering initiatives of member states and confirmed the Kingdom’s readiness to host the next ministerial meeting, ensuring full support for its success.

The minister welcomed the outcomes and affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to advancing joint GCC social and developmental initiatives.
