Stage of Pride of Schoolchildren Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- The stage of pride of the schoolchildren "Children's Union members whom we met on the road of patriotism" took place at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on September 5.
Appeared on the stage were schoolchildren who are preparing themselves to be pillars with versatile knowledge, strong physique and noble ideological and spiritual traits, cherishing the value of the country and the real meaning of patriotism first with one mind of loyalty to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
The story of schoolchildren who safely carried portraits of the peerlessly great men in fierce flames showed well the pure mental world of the new generation.
The participants were impressed by the beautiful deeds of schoolchildren who visit the statues of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung and the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill and devote themselves to preserving them every day and thus presented the pleasure to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un and who devote their pure sincerity to preserving the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and other bases for education in the revolutionary traditions.
They were also moved by the pride of schoolchildren who are getting full marks at the newly-built splendid schools on the rugged lands swept by disaster.
Schoolchildren said that they won the top and first places at international and domestic contests and exhibitions while preparing themselves as the pillars who would shoulder the future of a thriving nation by studying hard and won the national schoolchildren's sports contests by conducting brisk extracurricular sports activities.
Put on the stage were the prides, including the stories of providing "Sonyon" (child) weapons and equipment by gathering large quantities of materials lying idle and taking warm care of war veterans and honored disabled soldiers.
