Foreign Minister participates in preparatory meeting for Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit

Doha, Sept. 14 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, participated in the Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, held today in Doha and chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the Secretary General of the Arab League and the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain included Ambassador Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of QatarAmbassador; Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Turaifi, Head of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
