Kyrgyzstan is against any forceful methods of conflict resolution, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister says

Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. On September 15, 2025, in Doha, the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev, took part in the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The summit was attended by the heads of government, parliaments, foreign affairs agencies of the OIC member states, as well as representatives of international and regional organizations.
The meeting was chaired by the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and was dedicated to the current situation in the Middle East region.
Jeenbek Kulubaev spoke on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov. In his speech, he noted that President Zhaparov is monitoring the developments in the region and strongly condemns the strikes carried out on September 9, 2025 on Doha city. These actions were understood as a gross violation of sovereignty, an encroachment on territorial integrity and a threat to the security of a peaceful state. He supports the efforts of the Qatari government to ensure the security of its country.
Foreign Ministry head emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is against any forceful methods of conflict resolution and calls on the international community to consolidate efforts for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, as well as to ensure access of humanitarian aid to the population.
The Minister once again confirmed the Kyrgyz Republic's continued commitment in supporting the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state.
