Industry Ministry Wins Middle East’s Best Government Use of Al Award

   Riyadh, September 16, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources won the best government use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) award in the Middle East at the Middle East Technology Excellence Awards 2025.
   The ministry focuses on delivering top-quality digital services to investors in the industrial and mining sectors, thereby fostering the development and empowerment of the industrial and mining investment environment. Its smart application "Senaei" streamlines the quality of service requests, processing them quickly and efficiently.
   Additionally, the "smart auditor" has reduced the time required to obtain industrial licenses by automatically reviewing various data and verifying their consistency. This includes data on licenses required to practice the activity, consistency of labor numbers and professions, as well as machinery and spare parts.
   The AI system also displays comments on the data submitted to license assessors for necessary action, thereby contributing to the improvement of industrial licensing processes' efficiency and quality.
