HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

Tokyo, Sep. 19 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Takeshi Iwaya, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.
The meeting took place during His Royal Highness’ official visit to Japan.
His Royal Highness affirmed the strategic basis of Bahraini-Japanese relations, which are built on shared aspirations and partnerships that build cooperation across multiple fields.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral coordination and nurturing opportunities that benefit both nations and their peoples.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the strength of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan, and the continued multi-sector progress and development both nations are witnessing.
His Royal Highness emphasised the integral role Japan plays in supporting development across various levels, noting the importance of strengthening and unifying international efforts to bolster regional security and stability.
During the meeting, the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were discussed.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
