Projects for Sprucing up Pyongyang Brisk in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in Pyongyang Municipality of the DPRK are now sprucing up the capital city.
The municipality has conducted the organizational and political work so that all the citizens take part in the work for creating more cultural and hygienic environment and conditions as befitting masters with their correct understanding of autumn hygienic campaign.
Rangnang and Mangyongdae districts are paving roads, painting the exterior of houses, landscaping the surrounding areas and repairing fences.
The Central District is installing flower beds and flowerpot stands along the streets and face-lifting parks while replacing paving blocks and curbstones.
Sosong and Pothonggang districts are appreciating the units and persons which are setting examples in sprucing up the districts and generalizing good experience to boost the enthusiasm of their inhabitants.
Songyo, Sadong and other districts are also giving a face-lift to streets and villages. -0-
