National Sci-tech Presentation in Field of Science and Technology Management Held in DPRK

 Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of science and technology management took place at the Sci-Tech Complex from September 16 to 19 under the sponsorship of the Korean science and technology management society of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Present there were scientists, technicians, postgraduate students and field officials from more than 50 units including the institute of scientific and technological development of the State Commission of Science and Technology, the institute of scientific and technological development studies of the State Academy of Sciences, the Railway Institute under the Ministry of Railways, the institute of scientific and technological development prospect of the Academy of Agricultural Science and Kim Chaek University of Technology.
The presentation on the theme of the "Exercise and buildup of scientific and technological force" heard valuable papers conducive to increasing the comprehensive scientific and technological force of the country.
The presentation, divided into the panels of methodology for managing science and technology, plan and proposal for developing science and technology and management of sci-tech talents, highly appreciated the proposals including researches into improving the system of examining science and technology, the method of planning development and the method of controlling and registering talents.
During the presentation, there took place technical lectures on the proposal for improving the management of science and technology and the system for introducing and managing scientific research results, etc. -0-
