Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 to honour time-tested brands, destinations

Hanoi, September 23 (VNA) - The awarding ceremony of the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 will be held in Hanoi and broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV) on September 27, marking the return of the Vietnamese tourism sector’s most prestigious awards after five years.
The information was released at a press conference in Hanoi on September 22. The award aims to honour outstanding organisations, enterprises, training institutions, and service providers that contribute to enhancing the standing of Vietnam’s tourism industry.
Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) Ha Van Sieu stated that 2025 marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment and development of the tourism sector, as well as the 20th edition of the Vietnam Tourism Awards. The return of the awards after a five-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic carries special significance, honouring and encouraging enterprises and organisations that have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and affirm their position amidst a volatile economic context.
It will consist of 11 categories, namely Best Travel Agency; Best Tourist Accommodation Establishment; Best Venue for Tourism Events; Best Tourist Transportation Enterprise; Best Food and Beverage Service Provider for Tourists; Best Spa and Wellness Service Provider for Tourists; Best Community-Based Tourism Destination; Most Creative Tourism Product; Best Golf Course for Tourists; Media Organisation with Outstanding Contributions to Tourism; and Best Tourism Training Institution.
VNAT Director Nguyen Trung Khanh emphasised that as a “benchmark of prestige” in the tourism sector, the Vietnam Tourism Awards not only honour outstanding organisations but also create opportunities for connection between regulatory bodies, professional associations, businesses, training institutions, and the media to work together towards the goal of sustainable tourism development.
It is expected to contribute to boosting the economy, encouraging investment, fostering innovation, empowering communities, protecting natural resources, and promoting cultural and social values. It also serves as an opportunity to showcase Vietnam’s image as a friendly, safe, and attractive destination to the world, while motivating enterprises to continuously innovate, apply technology, and improve the quality of products and services to better meet the increasingly diverse needs of both domestic and international tourists.-VNA
