HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Manama, Sep. 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan, forged over decades of multisectoral collaboration and strong people-to-people links, reaffirming Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the Kingdom's commitment to building on Bahrain-Pakistan relations, and underscored the importance of cooperation between the legislative authorities of both countries. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also reiterated their shared commitment to exchanging expertise and strengthening collaboration across parliamentary and legislative affairs.
During the meeting, issues of common interest, further opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as the latest regional and international developments were discussed.
For his part, HE Sadiq expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to building closer ties.
HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of HE Sadiq's visit to Bahrain.
