President of Madinah Islamic University Meets Russian Mufti

   Madinah, September 25, 2025, SPA -- Islamic University of Madinah President Dr. Saleh Alagla met in Moscow with Chairman of the Russian Muftis Council and the Religious Administration of Muslims of Russia Mufti Ravil Gaynutdinov.
   During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of mutual cooperation and discussed ways to develop scientific and religious initiatives that promote Islamic values based on moderation and balance, thereby contributing to the strengthening of civilizational understanding among peoples and societies.
   Following the meeting, the university president toured the Moscow Cathedral Mosque, one of the most prominent religious landmarks in the Russian Federation, on the occasion of its tenth anniversary reopening.
   He was accompanied by the mufti and received a briefing on the mosque’s components, including its religious and educational facilities and services.
   The visit comes within the framework of the university’s global role in building bridges of cooperation with academic and religious institutions worldwide.
