Marking the first supermoon of 2025, it was approximately 361,455.9 kilometers from Earth, creating a breathtaking celestial display that captivated astronomy enthusiasts and nature lovers.
   Known as the Harvest Moon because it historically helped farmers extend their harvesting into the night with its bright, enduring light, this moon appears about 14% larger and brighter than a typical full moon due to its closer proximity to Earth.
