Healthcare Sector Investments Grow in Madinah Region

   Madinah, October 07, 2025, SPA -- The healthcare sector in Madinah Region has experienced rapid growth, driven by increased investment and the continuous expansion of medical services, underscoring its vital role in enhancing quality of life and contributing to the region’s broader development goals.
   According to statistics issued by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce, the region is served by 33 government and private hospitals, representing 6.4% of the total number of hospitals in the Kingdom. Of these, 69.7% are government-run, while 30.3% are privately operated. The total number of hospital beds in the region stands at 4,948, with government hospitals accounting for 79.3% of the beds and private hospitals providing the remaining 20.7%.
   The number of doctors in Madinah Region has reached 9,599, while the total number of nursing and midwifery staff stands at 13,713.
