Etidal, Telegram Remove 28 Million Extremist Contents in Q3 2025

   Riyadh, October 07, 2025, SPA -- The Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) and Telegram removed 28,495,947 extremist contents and deleted 1,150 channels used for extremist propaganda during the third quarter of 2025, as part of their ongoing cooperation to combat digital content spread by terrorist and extremist groups.
   According to an Etidal press release issued today, extremist content publishing saw a noticeable spike this quarter, with August recording the highest activity at 42%, followed closely by July at 40%, and September at 18%.
   Since the start of their cooperation in February 2022 through the end of September 2025, Etidal and Telegram have now removed a total of 236,100,889 extremist contents and deleted 18,605 extremist channels.
