Bahrain participates in first GCC Heads of Real Estate Authorities

Doha, Oct. 13 (BNA): Ibrahim Mohammed Abul, Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), participated in the first meeting of real estate authority heads from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Doha.

 

Abul affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening Gulf cooperation and fostering the exchange of expertise among real estate regulatory bodies, to advance joint efforts and support the development of legislation that promotes sustainable economic growth in the region.

 

He noted that the meeting served as an important platform for discussing the future of the GCC real estate sector, exploring means to enhance regulatory efficiency, and developing institutional coordination mechanisms among member states.

 

Abul added that regional cooperation in real estate regulation contributes to the development of unified policies and procedures, keeps pace with technological advancements in the sector, and encourages the adoption of best regulatory practices across GCC countries. He expressed appreciation to Qatar’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority for hosting and successfully organising the meeting.
