Deputy Prime Minister receives Kuwaiti Civil Services Commission Chief

Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA): Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Deputy Prime Minister, received Dr. Essam Al Rubaiaan, Civil Services Commission Chief in Kuwait.

 

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of civil service and public administration. 

 

Shaikh Duaij bin Salman bin Duaij Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), and Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA).

 

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the strong and longstanding relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, noting that they continue to deepen under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.

 

The Deputy Premier emphasised the importance of building on the close cooperation between the two countries, particularly in developing human resources, exchanging expertise, and promoting best practices in civil service systems. He also encouraged expanding joint training initiatives between Bahrain and Kuwait to strengthen administrative development and improve public sector efficiency.

 

Dr Al Rubaiaan commended Bahrain’s efforts to modernise its civil service and enhance government performance. He affirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continued coordination with Bahrain to advance shared goals in developing national capabilities and supporting sustainable institutional growth.
