Interior Minister receives former UK Chief of the Defence Staff

Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA):  General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, received General (Ret.) Sir Nicholas Carter, former Chief of the Defence Staff of the British Armed Forces.

Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security, was present.

The minister commended the strategic partnership between the two countries and their commitment to enhancing security cooperation and exchange expertise.

Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed appreciation for General Sir Nicholas’s efforts and contributions in supporting cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.

The meeting also discussed enhancing security cooperation to serve the interests of both countries.
