Interior Minister: HM King’s royal speech marks pivotal moment in national pride and identity
Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA): General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, expressed pride in the values and vision set out in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s speech at the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term, describing it as a milestone in Bahrain’s national progress.
Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah said the Royal Speech reflected a clear and inspiring vision rooted in Bahrain’s heritage, strengthened by a deep sense of national responsibility, and guided by a commitment to unity, loyalty, and hard work.
The minister affirmed that His Majesty’s vision continues to shape Bahrain’s path as a nation proud of its identity and traditions while embracing modernity and progress.
Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah highlighted His Majesty’s praise for the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, whose teamwork approach and cooperation with the legislative branch have advanced national development, strengthened the economy, and expanded opportunities for citizens.
The minister also commended His Majesty’s recognition of the achievements of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, particularly his efforts to empower Bahraini youth and advance scientific innovation, including the successful launch of Bahrain’s national satellite.
Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah further praised His Majesty’s tribute to the Bahrain Defence Force and security services, led by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), noting that sustainable development rests on the pillars of safety and stability.
The minister affirmed commitment to advancing the goals of His Majesty’s Reform Project, pledging continued efforts to uphold Bahrain’s unity, prosperity, and security under His Majesty’s leadership.
