Yemen, UK discuss training anti-terrorism cadres

SANA'A, July 15 (Saba) - Yemen and United Kingdom (UK) talked here on Wednesday
about some issues relating to training Yemeni cadres to combat terrorism.

Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs Rashad al-Alimi held talks
with a British delegation specializing in Africa and Yemen affairs from British
Ministries of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and Defense over the joint
cooperation between the two countries in areas of development and combating piracy
in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Al-Alimi hailed the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, expressing his
appreciation to UK government's support to Yemen in development fields.

The UK delegation affirmed supporting Yemen's unity and stability and keenness on
continuing its country's cooperation with Yemen in different fields as well as
promoting bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
