Education Minister congratulates student Mohammed Jassim Mubarak on securing second place in Arab Reading Challenge

Manama, Oct. 23 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, congratulated student Mohammed Jassim Mubarak from Ahlia Private School for winning second place in the ninth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge. The competition witnessed participation from over 32 million students across various stages from 50 countries.
 
The Minister affirmed that this achievement, announced during the closing ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, reflects the advanced level reached by educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain in developing Arabic language skills, including reading.
 
Mohammed Jassim Mubarak reached the final stage of the competition among all participating countries after securing first place at the national level in Bahrain. He was selected from over 137,000 students from government and private schools across the Kingdom, who took part in this significant global reading initiative under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation.
