Bahrain participates in United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

Geneva, Oct. 23 (BNA): Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations Office in Geneva, led Bahrain’s delegation to the sixteenth session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD 16).

In his address, the Permanent Representative reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to supporting UNCTAD’s role in promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth and advancing trade and investment as key drivers of global prosperity. He highlighted the Kingdom's efforts to develop advanced economic policies based on openness, diversification, innovation, and partnership with the private sector, to enhance the trade and investment environment and achieve comprehensive development.
