Bahraini parliamentary delegation discusses cooperation with Russian State Duma

Moscow, Nov. 1 (BNA): A delegation from the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by MP Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom, Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) and Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, met with Maxim Topilin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, on the sidelines of the APA Standing Committee on Social and Cultural Affairs meeting in Moscow.

The meeting discussed the strong Bahrain–Russia relations and means to enhance parliamentary and economic cooperation, including legislative development, investment, and emerging sectors such as technology, food security, and pharmaceuticals.

Both sides underlined the importance of continued coordination to strengthen bilateral ties and promote shared interests.
