Foreign Minister meets Yemeni Counterpart

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA):  Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Dr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

The two sides discussed the close relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Yemen and their continued development.  They also reviewed means to further strengthen cooperation across various domains to support the shared interests of both countries and their peoples.

The meeting addressed the latest developments in the Republic of Yemen and the efforts undertaken by the Yemeni government to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, stability, and development.

The discussions also covered regional and international efforts to support peace and security in Yemen, safeguard navigation in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea, and enhance cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
