Foreign Minister meets Lebanese Interior Minister

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA):  Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Brigadier General Ahmad Al Hajjar, Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the Republic of Lebanon, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

The meeting discussed the distinguished and historical relations between the two countries, and the ongoing progress and development of these ties across various sectors.  They also reviewed efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation to serve the shared interests of both countries and their peoples.

The meeting further addressed the efforts of the Lebanese government to strengthen security and stability in Lebanon, preserve its sovereignty and independence, and meet the aspirations of the Lebanese people for growth and prosperity. 

The two ministers also exchanged views on recent regional developments and their implications for security and stability in the region.
