Interior Minister meets HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal Al Saud

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA):  General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, met with His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

The meeting came on the sidelines of the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, was present.

The Minister commended the deep-rooted and historical relations between the two kingdoms and their mutual commitment to further strengthening cooperation.

Gen. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah noted that the convening of this strategic and international forum reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to contributing to the maintenance of international peace and security, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which emphasises the promotion of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and openness in the interest of the security and well-being of all.

The minister commended HRH Prince Turki bin Faisal’s active role in the IISS Manama Dialogue and his notable efforts to promote regional and global peace grounded in human rights and international law.
