Beyon Solutions, iGA sign agreement to launch Bahrain’s first Sovereign HyperCloud

Manama, Nov. 2 (BNA): Beyon Solutions, part of the Beyon Group, has signed a strategic partnership with the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) during the Gateway Gulf 2025 Forum.
 
The signing took place in the presence of Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Beyon Group, and senior executives from both entities. This partnership will lead to the launch of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s first AI-ready Sovereign HyperCloud, powered by Oracle Alloy, marking a major milestone in Bahrain’s digital transformation and data sovereignty efforts.
 
Developed by Beyon Solutions in collaboration with Oracle and with the strategic support of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, the Sovereign HyperCloud is a secure, AI-ready, locally operated cloud platform and the only cloud hosted entirely within Bahrain. Powered by Oracle Alloy, a comprehensive cloud infrastructure platform, it combines global innovation with local governance, enabling government entities and enterprises to innovate confidently while maintaining full control of their data within national borders.
 
Under the agreement, the iGA will act as the primary client, leading cloud adoption across Bahrain’s government entities by enabling data-driven governance, intelligent citizen services, and efficient public sector operations. The initiative will also allow government entities to leverage the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications capabilities provided through the Sovereign HyperCloud to enhance efficiency and productivity in delivering services to citizens.
 
Mohamed Ali Al Qaed, Chief Executive of the iGA, affirmed that the launch of the Sovereign HyperCloud aligns with Bahrain’s national aspirations and reflects the Authority’s commitment to the directives of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology, chaired by General Shaikh Rashed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior. Al Qaed highlighted that the partnership with Beyon Solutions and Oracle supports Bahrain’s goals of strengthening data sovereignty, enhancing national digital security and efficiency, and improving the quality of digital government services. He added that the Sovereign HyperCloud will enable government entities to utilise AI, automation, and analytics with full confidence that data is protected and managed entirely within Bahrain demonstrating the Authority’s commitment to innovation, resilience, and digital excellence.
