Indian Cultural Week Concludes in Riyadh, Bangladeshi Cultural Days to Start Tomorrow

Riyadh, November 10, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Media concluded the week-long Indian Cultural Week events, which were organized in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority as part of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative. The event successfully attracted over 200,000 visitors and featured a variety of cultural and artistic performances that reflected deep-rooted Saudi-Indian relations while highlighting the cultural diversity of Riyadh.
The Indian Cultural Week -- one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program supporting Saudi Vision 2030 goals, -- saw the participation of more than 100 Indian artists. They presented artistic, theatrical, and heritage performances showcasing the richness of India's cultural identity. Interactive pavilions were set up to display arts, handicrafts, cuisine, and traditional customs representing various regions of India.
The event garnered significant official attention, with visits from numerous diplomatic and cultural figures, alongside a large turnout from the Indian community, citizens, and residents. The attention created a festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of cultural exchange among all in the Kingdom. The week concluded with vibrant artistic performances by Indian troupes, which were met with enthusiastic audience participation.
The Bangladeshi Cultural Days, a four-day event, will commence tomorrow, featuring artists who will present artistic and theatrical performances showcasing Bangladeshi culture.
The Global Harmony Initiative continues its series of cultural weeks, representing 14 countries from around the world, and spanning a total of 49 days. The initiative is part of the Kingdom's efforts to promote human dialogue and cultural understanding, and to solidify Riyadh's position as a global platform for celebrating cultural and civilizational diversity.
