SAR231 Million in Contracts to Modernize Municipal Services Across the Kingdom's Cities

Riyadh, November 19, 2025, SPA -- Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail attended the signing of several public-private partnership contracts yesterday at the Cityscape Global 2025 in Riyadh. The contracts, valued at over SAR231 million, focus on services related to monitoring excavations and enforcing building regulations.
These agreements are part of the ministry's broader strategy to improve the efficiency of the municipal sector and strengthen collaboration with the private sector, ultimately aiming to enhance service quality and boost operational and regulatory performance across the Kingdom’s cities.
Through these agreements, the ministry seeks to modernize municipal services by empowering the private sector to take on key operational roles, incorporating advanced monitoring technologies, and driving digital transformation to ensure sustainable services and improve the quality of life in urban areas.
