China Donates Over 30 Million Baht to Aid Southern Thailand Flood Victims

BANGKOK, Dec 3 (TNA) - China has donated over 30 million baht (approx. $940,000) to aid victims of severe flooding in southern Thailand, reaffirming the "brotherly" relationship between the two countries.

Chinese Ambassador Zhang Jianwei met with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to hand over the funds, expressing confidence in the Thai government's rapid recovery efforts.

Prime Minister Anutin expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of the Thai government and its people.

He noted that the gesture "reflects the great friendship that the two countries have always shared," even during difficult times, likening the relationship to that of a family. -819 (TNA)
