2Seas Motorsport delivered a historic season in 2025, securing four major titles under two different brands, in addition to winning its debut appearance in the Asian Le Mans Series and earning another podium in the International GT Open. With a total of eight wins and ten podiums across five championships, the Bahraini team cemented its status among the strongest GT teams globally.
The team began its season with its first participation in the Asian Le Mans Series with drivers Anthony MacIntosh and Parker Thompson, joined by experienced driver Ben Barnicoat. After a promising opening round in Malaysia, the team secured its first win in the Four Hours of Dubai thanks to a precise strategy and consistent performance, in addition to a key top-six finish before concluding the campaign in Abu Dhabi.
The team fielded two full-season entries: Car No. 18 driven by Maximilian Götz and Kevin Tse, and car No. 42 driven by rising talents Kiern Jones and Charles Dawson.
From the opening round at Donington Park, Jones and Dawson signalled their determination to secure their first win, followed by maintaining the lead in the standings for most of the season. Götz and Tse also achieved several important podiums before regaining momentum at Oulton Park with back-to-back victories after an impressive performance in challenging conditions.
Despite a major incident at Spa-Francorchamps that required preparing a replacement car in record time, the team continued collecting points before restoring its strength at Snetterton and Brands Hatch.
In the season finale, the thrilling Donington Decider, Jones and Dawson clinched the overall Drivers’ Championship and the Pro-Am title, while the team secured the Teams’ Championship for the second time in its history.
As part of the new partnership with Verstappen.com Racing, the team competed in the Gold Cup category with drivers Chris Lulham, Thierry Vermeulen, and Harry King. The trio maintained podium finishes in all five rounds, including a class win and a top-ten overall finish in the Spa 24 Hours. The team secured the title in the final round in Barcelona, Spain.
The team competed in three Bronze Cup rounds, most notably the Spa 24 Hours with Thompson, Dawson, Jones, and Williamson, finishing seventh.
The team also captured a class win in the Nürburgring round with Dawson, Ben Barnicoat, and Tom Lebbon, before making its final appearance of the season in Barcelona.
Charles Dawson continued to build his international experience by participating in the International GT Open alongside Mackenzie Cresswell, with the pair securing third place in the second race, adding another achievement to the team’s record.
2Seas Motorsport concluded its 2025 season with its strongest results since its establishment. With the substantial support it receives and its ongoing ambitions, the team is preparing to enter the 2026 season with significant momentum, a clear strategy, and a strong drive to enhance its presence, secure victories, and raise the flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain on global podiums.
