National Guard Commander arrives in Pakistan, meets Pakistani Army Chief

Islamabad, Dec. 3 (BNA): His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, arrived in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where he met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
Field Marshal Munir said the visit reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, particularly in defence areas.
His Highness commended the progress of military cooperation and exchange between the two sides. His Highness also highlighted Pakistan’s contribution, through its army, to supporting regional and international security and stability.
The meeting also discussed matters of common interest and means to further enhance cooperation between Bahrain and Pakistan, particularly in military affairs.
