Bahrain particiates in 49th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders

Tunis, Dec. 3 (BNA): Major-General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Deputy Chief of Public Security, led the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation to the 49th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders, held in Tunisia.

The conference reviewed the outcomes of implementing the recommendations of the 48th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders, and discussed ways to strengthen Arab efforts to combat drugs, enhance awareness and preventive measures against their dangers, and intensify cooperation, coordination, and information exchange to confront this threat.

The conference also discussed advancing the capacities of relevant agencies in Arab states to counter synthetic drugs and reviewed distinguished security experiences presented by participating countries.
