Foreign Minister receives UN Special Envoy for Yemen

Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Hans Grundberg, the United Nations Special Envoy for the Republic of Yemen.

The meeting discussed developments in Yemen and their humanitarian impact on the Yemeni people, as well as the efforts led by the UN Special Envoy to reach a political settlement that ends the conflict, fulfills the aspirations of the Yemeni people, and supports regional security and stability.

Both sides emphasised the importance of continued joint efforts and coordination to advance the UN-led peace process.
