Ambassador to Egypt attends 15th Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment Conference at Arab League

Cairo, Dec. 8 (BNA): Fawzia Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, attended the 15th International Conference of the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment, held at the Arab League headquarters.
The conference supports Arab cooperation on sustainable development, addresses global environmental changes, and promotes initiatives aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, including climate change, sustainable resource management, and the transition to a green economy.
Discussions focused on sustainable development strategies in Arab countries, environmental policy development, innovation in tackling climate challenges, and opportunities for collaboration between governments, research institutions, and civil society.
Ambassador Zainal highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to supporting regional and international sustainable development efforts. She emphasised the importance of partnerships and knowledge exchange to achieve inclusive growth balancing environmental, economic, and social needs.
