Ladies' Round Introduced at King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025

Riyadh, December 15, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Falcons Club has announced the introduction of a ladies' round in the Al-Melwah race (400-meter) at the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2025, which will take place from December 25, 2025, to January 10, 2026, at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.
Women can compete in both the dedicated ladies' round and the general rounds. This initiative aims to empower women, enhance their participation in the traditional sport of falconry, ensure the hobby's sustainability for future generations, and align with sector development, promoting awareness of this ancient tradition.
The festival has allocated a total prize pool of SAR100,000 for the young falconers, ladies', and schools' rounds, encouraging broad participation in this premier global championship.
Falconers from across the Kingdom and beyond will compete, with a total prize pool exceeding SAR38 million for the main competitions, Al-Melwah racing and Al-Mazayen beauty contest, distributed across 1,012 prizes over 17 days.
