Iran, Belarus FMs hold talks in Minsk

Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Belarusian counterpart Maxim Ryzhenkov held talks in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on Monday.

Araghchi, who left Tehran for Minsk on Sunday, met and held talks with Ryzhenkov.

Before this meeting, the top Iranian diplomat made a visit to the Independence Palace to hold talks with Aleksandr Lukashenko, the President of Belarus.

Additionally, Araghchi paid tribute to those who lost their lives in World War II by laying a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk.

He arrived in Belarus on Monday to hold official consultations with the country’s top officials.
