Bahrain Embassy in Egypt hosts reception for National Day celebrations

Cairo, Dec. 15 9BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt hosted a reception on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebration of its National Day and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne and the accompanying national events.
The event was attended by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, representing the Prime Minister of Egypt, along with senior Egyptian officials, ambassadors, military and cultural attachés, media representatives, and figures from the business and cultural sectors.
In her address, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, extended her congratulations to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighting the Kingdom’s development achievements and the strength of Bahraini-Egyptian relations, which have advanced to a comprehensive strategic partnership.
The Ambassador affirmed the Embassy’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and praised Bahrain’s growing international role, noting its election to a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for 2026–2027 and its current presidency of the Gulf Cooperation Council, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to dialogue, peace, and regional stability.
