Study: Slight reduction in human reproduction in Yemen
SANA'A, July 19 (Saba)-A slight reduction in the human reproduction in Yemen because use of family planning methods
during previous years, according to a new study.
The study was prepared by head of the Central Statistics Organization =
Amin Mohammed Muhieddin who said in his study that the human =
reproduction reached 6.1 babies for each
female in 2004 after it was 8 babies for each female in 1986.
The study attributed the slight reduction to the good level of =
education for woman and her participation in the public life in addition =
to improvement in her health condition.
In spite of this notable reduction, but Yemen is still in the first =
rank of highest level of reproduction in Arab region, the study added.
The studied found out that the population growth impacts negatively on =
the economic development.
