Saudi Arabia Launches Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Dates Distribution, Iftar Programs in Russia

Moscow, February 24, 2026, SPA -- Saudi Arabia launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ dates distribution and iftar programs in Russia last week. The initiatives reflect the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to serve Islam and Muslims and promote the values of solidarity and compassion.
Represented by the Saudi Embassy in Russia, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance began implementing the date distribution last Wednesday in Russia.
A total of five tons of dates have been allocated for distribution, benefiting more than 10,000 people across ten Russian governorates.
On Friday, the third day of the holy month of Ramadan, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ iftar program was also inaugurated at Al-Shuhada Mosque in Moscow.
This initiative in Moscow comes as an extension of efforts to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and solidarity with Muslims worldwide.
