YOUNG AZERI COMPATRIOTS FROM GEORGIA TO FAMILIARIZE WITH HISTORY AND CULTURE OF AZERBAIJAN
Baku, 24 July (AzerTac). From July 27 till August 1, the trip of 80 Azerbaijani students from Georgia will be organized to Azerbaijan. They will have rest in “Aquapark” Entertainment Center in Novkhany settlement of Baku, and will familiarize themselves with historical and cultural monuments of Baku and Absheron Peninsula.
This project is being implemented according to the “Plan of measures in connection with integration of Azerbaijanis Living in Georgia into the Georgian Society”, press-service of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora said.
The goal is strengthening of relations of Azeri youth living in Georgia with Azerbaijan, informing them more detailed on the national-cultural values of Azerbaijan, culture, and also effective organization of their summer vacations. Seminars will be arranged for them about history of Azerbaijan.
Young Azeri compatriots from Georgia will visit the Alley of Honors to pay respect to the tomb of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and also Alley of Martyrs, the famous Gobustan State Reserve, Icherisheher and Ateshgah Temple.
