COMPETITION AMONG JOURNALISTS ON THEME OF KARABAKH AND KHOJALY GENOCIDE DECLARED
Baku, 25 July (AzerTAc). Press Council of Azerbaijan and ”Recognition of the Khojaly Genocide” Public Association today held an action dedicated to coverage in mass media of the theme of Karabakh and the Khohjaly geneocide.
Chairman of the Press Council Aflatun Amashov and Chairman of the Public Association Shamil Sabiroglu underlined that a competition would be held among journalists with a view of wider propagation in local and foreign press of the Khojaly genocide and as a whole the Karabakh theme. As stated, the competition will last from August 1 till February 1 next year. The winners will be awarded special prizes.
Some media represenattievs were awarded for coverage of the Khojaly tragedy.
