BAKU HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY
Baku, 27 July (AzerTAc). The international congress entitled “Minimally invasive surgery” has been held for the first time in Azerbaijan`s capital. The congress is organized by the Turkish-Azerbaijani Association of Endoscopic Surgery, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and central hospital of the oil industry workers. The event welcomes roughly 200 physicians and scientists from Azerbaijan as well as 50 medical experts from the United States, Russia, Belgium and Turkey.
Participants have delivered reports on methods of the radiological surgical operation, endoscopic treatment of gastrocele and diaphragmatic hernia, endoscopic surgery of large intestine, liver, pancreas and spleen, endoscopic removal of gallstones, ultrasound investigation and treatment, etc.
The congress will run till July 29.
