Kia Motors posts 20.2 pct gain in July sales
SEOUL, Aug. 3 (Yonhap) -- Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest
carmaker, said Monday its auto sales rose 20.2 percent last month, helped by
government tax incentives and rising overseas demand for small cars.
Kia sold a total of 126,857 units last month with domestic sales gaining 26.5
percent to 34,811 units and exports increasing 18 percent to 92,046 units, the
company said in a statement.
