Hyundai Motor`s auto sales rise 36.6 pct in July
SEOUL, Aug. 3 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's top automaker, said
Monday its vehicle sales rose 36.6 percent on-year in July, helped by government
tax incentives and growing demand for small cars.
Hyundai sold 262,623 units in July, with domestic sales gaining 15.4 percent to
60,638 units and overseas sales jumping 44.5 percent to 201,985 units.
In the first seven months of this year, Hyundai's auto sales fell 1.2 percent to
1.65 million units.
